This page explains how the Ripon Men’s Shed website uses cookies. We keep it to the minimum: we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you for marketing.

Others are set by outside services whose content we show on our pages, such as a map or a social media feed. Where we mention cookies below, we also mean similar technologies that read information from your device or contact an outside service when you view a page.
What we use, and why
Always on (no consent needed)
We store one small record on your device to remember your cookie choice (cookie names starting cmplz_, kept for up to 12 months). The website also uses basic technical cookies to keep it secure and working. These do not identify you and do not need your consent.
Only with your consent
These stay switched off until you choose “Accept”. If you reject them, you will see a grey box in their place and nothing is sent to the companies involved.

These companies are responsible for their own cookies. You can read how they use data in their own policies: Google, Facebook and Microsoft. Some of them may process data outside the UK.
Your choices
When you first visit, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works either way. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings tab at the bottom of the page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the site will ask for your choice again.
